Born and raised in Sydney, Australia. Sophie Louise Begg a past student at the acclaimed Central Saint Martins College (London), Is now making her mark amongst up and coming talented Sydney designers. At Just 21 yrs of age, Sophie Begg is a hidden jewel within the industry and has recently launched her own jewellery label under her name. With a signature style for aesthetic detail and sharp designs Sophie will be debuting at Australia’s fashion industries biggest event of the year, Rosemount Fashion Week 2009.
Sophie takes inspirations from fashion, nature and innovative design to create her pieces with each one being individual. Since its inception in early 2008, Sophie’s designs have grown from strength to strength and continue to impress.
Discovered by Nathan Sullivan at Sydney’s Fringe Bar Markets this up and coming designer is surely not one to be missed.
