Hardly summed up by the name, plasidapparel is a Sydney based fashion label focused on the desire to bring luxurious staples and tailored street wear to the fashion savvy individual. A collaboration between Sydney based brother’s Jonson & Justin Seelenmeyer, the label has been establishing itself on the fashion scene since it’s debut collection in late 2008.

plasidapparel essentially begun by making and designing, on a commercial scale, the style of clothes the Brothers where personally wearing. Since then however, the label has largely matured, both stylistically and professionally, and is now broadly targeting the tastes of all fashion savvy individuals, producing an extensive range of Men’s & Women’s day-to-night luxury and street wear pieces that are best described as: sharp-but-urban; sophisticated-but-careless; luxurious-but-casual.

The labels contradictory aesthetic has come from the brothers desire to bring a vintage feel to modern trends. The combined look of the old and the new really shines through with plasidapparel, and it effortlessly allows for each piece to be dressed up or down, for any occasion.

Growing up in the lush and fertile countryside of Mid North Coast NSW, both Jonson & Justin have stayed true to their roots, pushing for eco-sustainable and ethical fashion wherever possible. Predominantly using raw, natural materials – silks, wools, organic cottons and linens and recycled polyester’s – in addition to manufacturing 100% of their goods locally, within and around Sydney CBD, the brothers hope to create more than just a fashion label with their new cult; “plasidapparel is so much about lifestyle, not just clothing, and we hope to increase the awareness of ethical, holistic practices through style and the personable influence of those wearing our clothes”.
